DOX was born from a love for Koh Lanta and a desire to create a place that feels authentic and unforced.
We came to Ko Lanta for beaches, warm weather, lush surroundings and slower pace of life. We stayed for the people and the island’s genuine, easy-going spirit.
Sven arrived in 2019 and built a life here with his partner Sunny and their daughter.
From this, DOX was born: a relaxed, welcoming place with thoughtful design, spotless rooms, good food and drinks, and genuine hospitality.
2026, Darko arrived as a guest and quickly felt at home with the people and the spirit of DOX. What began as a holiday became a lasting connection, leading him to join as an owner and help carry its vision forward.
Today, DOX is a shared passion for Ko Lanta and its uncomplicated way of life a place where strangers become friends and guests return year after year.
